This easy dump-and-go recipe is perfect for busy days — just a few simple ingredients and the slow cooker does the rest. The pork becomes fork-tender while simmering in a rich, savory sauce that’s perfect for spooning over mashed potatoes or rice.
Ingredients
4 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for searing)
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Optional Add-Ins
• 1/2 cup sour cream (stir in at the end for extra creaminess)
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
Optional: Sear the Pork Chops
For extra flavor, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear pork chops for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly browned. This step adds depth but can be skipped if short on time.
Prepare the Sauce
In a bowl, whisk together ranch seasoning mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and black pepper until smooth.
Slow Cook
Place pork chops in the slow cooker.
Pour the ranch sauce evenly over the top.
Cover and cook:
• On LOW for 6–7 hours
• On HIGH for 3–4 hours
The pork chops should be very tender and cooked through.
Finish and Serve
If desired, stir in sour cream during the last 15 minutes of cooking for a richer sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Serving Suggestions
Serve over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice to soak up the creamy sauce. It also pairs well with roasted vegetables or steamed green beans.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave.
You can freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
