CAJUN SHRIMP AND STEAK FEAST

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

 

For the Steak:

 

 

1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or your favorite cut), cut into strips

 

 

1 tbsp olive oil

 

 

 

 

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

 

 

2 cloves garlic, minced

 

 

Salt and pepper to taste

 

 

 

 

For the Shrimp:

 

 

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

 

 

1 tbsp olive oil

 

 

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

 

 

2 cloves garlic, minced

 

 

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

 

 

1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

 

 

Salt and pepper to taste

 

 

 

 

For Serving:

 

Fresh parsley for garnish

 

Lemon wedges for serving

 

 

Optional: steamed rice, garlic bread, or roasted vegetables

 

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

For the Steak:

 

 

Season the Steak: In a bowl, toss the steak strips with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until the steak is evenly coated.

 

 

Cook the Steak: Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steak strips for 3-4 minutes per side, until they are cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

 

 

For the Shrimp:

Season the Shrimp: In a separate bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

 

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet used for the steak, add a little more olive oil if needed. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until they are pink and opaque. Remove from the heat.

 

 

 

 

Assemble the Feast:

Combine and Serve: Plate the Cajun steak and shrimp together on a large platter or individual plates. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges for an extra burst of flavor.

 

 

Optional Sides: Serve with steamed rice, garlic bread, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
