Creamy Pasta Shells
A cozy, creamy pasta dish made with tender shell noodles and a rich, comforting sauce. It’s easy, fast, and perfect for weeknights when you want something that feels warm and homemade without a lot of effort.
Ingredients
• 12 oz medium pasta shells
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 cups heavy cream or half-and-half
• 1 cup grated Parmesan
• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
• Salt and black pepper to taste
• Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta shells and cook until tender. Reserve a small cup of the pasta water, then drain the rest.
In a separate skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook just until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan and Italian seasoning. Let the sauce thicken slightly.
Add the cooked pasta shells to the sauce and toss well. If the sauce becomes too thick, splash in a little of the reserved pasta water until it reaches the creamy texture you like. Season with salt and pepper.
