Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Caramelized Onions
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons butter, divided
1 large onion, thinly sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Optional garnish: chopped parsley
Instructions:
Pat the steak pieces dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites in a single layer, working in batches if needed. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium and add 1 tablespoon of butter to the same skillet. Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, for 8 to 10 minutes until soft and lightly caramelized.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Return the steak bites to the skillet. Add the remaining butter, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Toss everything together until the steak is coated in the buttery sauce and heated through.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Remove from heat and garnish with parsley if desired.
