Ingredients:

    • 2 tsp vanilla extract (clear)

    • 1 cup dark cocoa powder (dark brown/black)
    • 1 tsp baking soda (white)
    • ½ tsp salt (white)

    • ¼ cup powdered sugar (white)

  • Instructions:
  1. Make the Peanut Butter Dough: Mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, and butter until thick. Shape small ovals for eyes and teeth. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the Chocolate Cookie Dough: Cream butter with sugars until fluffy. Add eggs + vanilla. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until combined.
  3. Shape the Cookie Face: On a lined baking tray, flatten a large round of chocolate dough. Gently press the peanut butter ovals into place to form eyes, teeth, and a nose.

  1. Bake: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 min until set. Let cool completely.
  2. Decorate: Use black royal icing/gel to pipe creepy stitched lines across the face. Let it dry before serving.
