1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

2 tablespoons lime juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 teaspoon of sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup coconut milk (optional, for a creamier texture)

Chopped peanuts and fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Mix Ingredients:

In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, honey (or brown sugar), rice vinegar, lime juice, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.

Whisk Together:

Adjust Seasoning:

Taste and add red pepper flakes for heat, adjusting according to your preference.

Serve:

Transfer the satay sauce to a serving bowl. Garnish with chopped peanuts and fresh cilantro, if desired.
