Low Carb pizza bowls

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb (450g) ground beef, turkey, or sausage

1/2 cup pizza sauce (sugar-free if possible)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup sliced pepperoni or any other preferred meat toppings

1/2 cup chopped bell peppers

1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

1/4 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)

1/4 cup diced onions (optional)

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

 

Cook the Ground Meat:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef (or your chosen meat) until fully browned.

Drain excess fat and season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

 

Prepare the Toppings:

While the meat is cooking, chop and prepare your vegetables and any additional toppings.

 

Assemble the Pizza Bowls:

In individual oven-safe bowls, layer the cooked meat at the bottom.

Add a layer of pizza sauce over the meat.

Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Add your chosen toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms, onions, etc.).

Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese on top.

 

Bake:

Place the bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

 

Serve:

Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
