INGREDIENTS:

 

– 1 cup water

 

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter

 

– 1 tablespoon sugar

 

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

 

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

 

– 2 large eggs

 

– Oil for frying

 

– 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)

 

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for coating)

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

 

2. Remove from heat and stir in the flour until the mixture forms a ball.

 

3. Allow the dough to cool slightly, then mix in the eggs one at a time until smooth.

 

4. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).

 

5. Use a pastry bag to pipe small circles or bites of dough into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

 

6. Remove churro bites and drain on paper towels.

 

7. In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Coat the warm churro bites in the mixture.

 

8. Serve warm and enjoy!
