Corn cooked in a skillet with honey and butter.

Honey Butter Skillet Corn is a quick side dish that takes only 15 minutes to make. It includes frozen corn, honey, butter, and cream cheese. So smooth, sugary, and tasty.

We live in the Midwest, where there is a lot of tasty corn available, especially in the middle of summer when farmers sell it at small stands right from their fields.

This is a simple and fast dish that can be made in one pan for busy weeknights or any time, and everyone will like it!

List of items needed to make a dish.

2 tablespoons of butter I use salt.

2 tablespoons of honey

1 bag weighing 16 ounces corn that has been frozen

2 ounces of cream cheese, cut into small pieces.

1/4 of a small spoon of salt

1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper

How to Prepare Corn with Honey Butter in a Skillet

In a frying pan, melt the butter and honey over medium-high heat. After the butter has melted, put in the frozen corn and cook for 5-8 minutes. Stir occasionally until the corn is fully cooked.

Put cream cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve right away. Uneaten food stays fresh when stored in a covered container in the refrigerator.

The recipe serves 6 people as a side dish, but if you are serving small children, you could likely get up to 8 servings from it.

I enjoy using yellow and white corn for this recipe, but any frozen corn will do. Ensure that you buy the 1-pound bag of frozen corn.
