Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb ground pork sausage

1 (10 oz) can Rotel tomatoes with green chilies, drained

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

2 cups baking mix (such as Bisquick)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

 

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease.

Mix Ingredients:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork sausage, drained Rotel tomatoes, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, baking mix, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form Balls:

 

Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake:

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.

Serve:

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Optionally, serve with ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.
