INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1 small yellow onion, grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 lbs ground beef
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix breadcrumbs and milk in a large bowl until combined. Let it sit for a few minutes.
Add eggs, grated onion, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to the breadcrumb mixture. Mix until uniformly wet. 🥄
Combine the ground beef with the breadcrumb mixture until just combined. Avoid over-mixing to keep the meatballs tender.
Scoop the meatball mixture onto the baking sheet using a cookie scoop or form with your hands into 2-tablespoon balls.
